It is accurate and swift with its combination of fore-grips and the 355 feet per second bolt speed, and with the anti-dry fire mechanism that is included, I am more efficient while hunting than ever.

Finally, one of the features that is the most unique about the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead is the fact that it comes with what they call Shock Collars. These Shock Collars are high energy barriers that prevent the blades on the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead from deploying too soon, for instance, if I bump my bolt or broadhead on something while moving or standing. Of all of the broadheads that I will be reviewing today, the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead is the most expensive. Not by much, though, so keep in mind that you do get what you pay for and that I have personally found that these broadheads were more than worth the investment!
The Carbon Express XT Dual Blade Serrated Crossbow Broadhead inflicts an impressive amount of damage on the animals that I have shot with it. These broadheads come with six ultra sharp and very unique cutting edges that help open up a wound that is 250 percent larger than some other traditional broadheads that I have used. I’ve noticed that this creates a much richer blood trail due to the impressive size of the cut allowing me to find the animal much more quickly.
I love the way that the Carbon Express XT Dual Blade Serrated Crossbow Broadhead is designed. I could just tell by looking at them that they were going to fly beautifully with their aerodynamic shape, and they definitely do. These broadheads spin when they travel, making my shots more precise. They also retain momentum as they come into contact with the animal, helping create a larger wound. This is definitely the best crossbow broadhead for aerodynamics.
These super sharp blades are made with professional grade materials letting me know that I won’t be needing to replace them prematurely. The Carbon Express XT Dual Blade Serrated Crossbow Broadhead features a 1.125-inch cutting diameter which creates an impressive wound channel for maximum blood trail generation. This is great because I often like switching up the kind of bows and bolts that I like to use depending on my mood.

Some online reviewers of the Carbon Express XT Dual Blade Serrated Crossbow Broadhead have stated that using these broadheads has made them unable to get consistently accurate group shots. I have not personally had this trouble, so it leads me to wonder whether or not they are using high quality bolts and whether or not they are loading them properly. I wouldn’t let these reviews throw you off from these top quality bolts.
The Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grain comes with a unique feature that has really saved me a lot of grief. These broadheads have what the company calls Shock Collars. Each of these shock collars serves as a high-energy barrier that stops the blades on the broadhead from shooting off prematurely in the event that I knock my broadhead or my bolt on myself or a tree while stalking or standing. They break upon impact and provide me with great bolt retention, saving me plenty of time that I might otherwise spend misfiring.
Another neat feature about the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grain is their Ferrule Alignment Technology. This technology, known simply as F.A.T., allows for better energy promotion and a higher velocity downrange, making sure my shots don’t fall short like they normally do. This gives me incredible accuracy even at quite the distance. Helping me with my accuracy with these broadheads is the fact that the F.A.T. technology also supports better aerodynamics so that they fly straighter and more evenly.
I am thoroughly impressed with the precision of the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grain, and I am of the belief that this might be the best crossbow broadhead for accuracy overall. Every time that I have use them, not only have I struck the animal exactly where I intended to, I got a clean, thorough passthrough each time. These broadheads leave me with a huge wound channel that opens at least 2 inches, if not more. This produces a generous blood trail that is easy to follow. Especially since the animal doesn’t often go very far after being shot by one of these because they end up bleeding out too swiftly.
Overall, the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grain is really a force to be reckoned with. It comes with razor sharp, durable blades that have yet to bend. They measure .035 inches and are made of strong stainless steel that flies smoothly and effortlessly on the end of my bolts. They are 125 grain, giving them that extra bit of power that they need to really get the job done.

The Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grain is one of the more expensive broadheads on this list, but I believe that in cases like this, if you want something strong, fast and powerful, you need to pay a little extra. I would buy the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 125 Grains again and again.
The Swhacker Set of 3 Crossbow 100 Grain 1.75 Inch Cut Broadhead is a force to be reckoned with. Its 100-grain make up has 2 blades on each head, one that pierces the exterior of the body and one that opens up in the body cavity, still having clean, sharp blades to cut with once it opens. I have had nothing but clean shots with this broadhead. This is the best crossbow broadhead for a clean shot.
The Swhacker Set of 3 Crossbow 100 Grain 1.75 Inch Cut Broadhead is made from a .032 thick hunk of razor sharp stainless steel. I have shot clean through shoulderblades with these broadheads and I am very impressed.

The Swhacker Set of 3 Crossbow 100 Grain 1.75 Inch Cut Broadhead does seem to produce a smaller blood trail than others, but the trail is still prominent enough where it’s easy enough to track, so I would definitely buy these again.
I chose the Rage Crossbow X 2-Blade Broadhead 100 Grain as the winner because it opens up a 2 or more inch wound channel that makes an amazing blood trail and the animals often can’t wander too far after being shot. The included Shock Collars save me a lot of time and energy, and the F.A.T. technology seems to make me more accurate. I recommend this for the hunter who wants to make every shot count.
Crossbows are a way to enjoy hunting without having to use a loud gun that might scare off far more than your target. Find the right balance with a heavier crossbow that won’t tire you out and weight you down but that will still provide the necessary weight you need for an accurate shot.

It only weighs 4.85 pounds so that setting it up to fire takes no time at all, and the string length measures 26.5 inches. Overall, this unit is excellently sized.

I am in love with the style of this compound crossbow. The SA Sports Fever Crossbow Package 543 comes with a dipped wooden style camouflage pattern that covers the entire body of the unit, allowing it to be ultra stealthy. The only aspect of this unit that does not have camouflage is the scope, but even then, it is covered in black which is just as discreet as camo when used in the right amounts as it is in this model.

The camo covers all sides of the Barnett Raptor FX2 except the tops of it, but those are shrouded in black so it is just as discreet as the rest of the crossbow is.

The Barnett Raptor FX2 is as powerful as it is beautiful. This crossbow features a bright red dot sight that helps me to hone in on my target with greater ease and swiftness than I would achieve using any other style of scope. It comes with a cross wire string and cable system that runs nice and tight, along with a rope cocking device that takes away some of the draw weight of the Barnett Raptor FX2. Alongside this, the compound crossbow comes with a three-bolt quiver and three 22-inch headhunter bolts to go with it. A super comfortable Talon crossbow sling completes the package.

I chose the Barnett Recruit Compound Crossbow Package as the winner of this package mainly because not only is it a well built, full sized crossbow, it can be used by nearly anyone, no matter how big or how small. It is adjustable and accurate with 130 pounds of draw weight that can easily be reduced thanks to its included rope cocking device. I recommend this crossbow for anyone on the smaller side of body types who has always wanted to use a compound bow to hunt.
The Chace Wind Recurve Crossbow was one I initially overlooked, until some positive news floated my way about this lightweight and sturdy crossbow. As I’m always eager to get my hands on new recurve crossbows to try out, as soon as I received it, I took it straight for a test drive.
With 150lbs of draw weight, this is a recurve crossbow that can be cocked without the need for a separate cocking device. While recurve crossbows are always more difficult to draw than their compound counterparts, the Chace Wind is accessible to practically everyone.
That draw weight enables your bolts to shoot at a speed of 245 feet per second, fast enough for target practice and even for hunting small to medium-sized game.
Weighing a mere 5.5lbs, this crossbow is very lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around with you for hours without causing strain. Even for beginners, this is light enough to carry easily.

The first thing I noticed about the Chace Wind Recurve Crossbow is that it looks great. A lot of less expensive crossbows are cheaply made but I was struck by the quality look and feel of this crossbow. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought I was handling a much more expensive product. The Chace Wind comes in either a black or camouflage finish, so you can choose your design based on your own needs and preference. I chose the camouflage option to help me blend in out in the field and was really impressed by the finish. Assembly was easy even without clear instructions. There were pictures provided to help you assemble it if you need it but I found it pretty obvious to put together. All in all, it took me less than 20 minutes to completely assemble it and even less time to sight it in. Just a few minor adjustments and I was able to shoot my targets dead on. The crossbow feels very smooth to shoot and I was able to draw it easily without needing a cocking aid. I shot over 50 bolts with this crossbow and there was no wear to the string. I was definitely impressed.
Yes, I would absolutely recommend the Chace Wind Recurve Crossbow. At first, I assumed that this would simply work as a nice beginner or youth crossbow but after using it a while, I feel like even seasoned archers and hunters would enjoy this model. Despite the low price, it has quality of a much more expensive model and feels smooth and easy to shoot. Those experienced with shooting recurve crossbows should have no trouble drawing this bow without a cocking device, but if you’re new to shooting with one or don’t have great arm and back strength, you may need to purchase a separate cocking device. The aluminum bolts are well made and shoot nicely and the scope zeroes in well with little adjustment needed. Overall, I’m really impressed with this Chace Wind Recurve Crossbow.
I really enjoy using the Chace Wind Recurve Crossbow. It’s lightweight enough to carry around all day without a problem and the soft feel coating give your hands a little extra attention. After just a little adjustment, this crossbow shoots very accurately, completely dead on with each shot and even after a long day of target practice, the string shows no wear. You don’t need to save it only for target practice either. This crossbow is more than capable of hunting small game perfectly. A great option for beginners or those who aren’t used to recurve crossbows, the Chace Wind is also a recurve crossbow that seasoned archers and hunters are sure to enjoy.
